Caltrans has construction and closures planned for the following areas this week:
• The shoulders and median on Highway 99 from Merced/Stanislaus County line to Stanislaus/San Joaquin County line will alternately close from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday.
• The on and off-ramps on Highway 99 from Whitmore Avenue to Hammett Road will alternately from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. through Saturday.
• The right shoulder, center and right lanes on Highway 99 from Taylor Road to the Stanislaus/San Joaquin County line will close from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. through Saturday.
Motorists should expect 15 to 30 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.
