Boarding for Breast Cancer’s (B4BC) Love Your Peaks presented by LivOn Labs will make stops at Dodge Ridge and Bear Valley this weekend.

B4BC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit foundation that has been providing breast cancer education, awareness, and survivor support programs for young people for over 25 years. Founded in 1996, B4BC hosts year-round grassroots events, educational outreach, and survivor wellness retreats to further its mission of promoting early detection and a healthy, active lifestyle as the best means of breast cancer prevention. 

In the summer months, the campaign hosts skateboarding events around the country and in the winter it’s Love Your Peaks snowboarding outreaches. 

The weekend begins on Saturday at Dodge Ridge, where the organization will offer fun activities such as a pink poker run, breast health education, live music, raffles, a tribute ride and more to benefit B4BC’s breast cancer education, prevention and survivorship programs. 

Participants can then end the night with B4BC at Bear Valley for a pre-party that will include live music, pink drink specials and an 805 Tap Takeover with 20% of proceeds donated to B4BC. 

The Bear Valley stop begins on Sunday at 8 a.m., with lift ticket specials, a pink terrain park and breast health education. Activities will also include breast health education, Boobie Bingo, raffles, live music and a tribute ride. 

“What’s extra exciting about the weekend is that U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Famers and B4BC co-founders Tina Basich and Shannon Dunn-Downing will be at both events, giving attendees the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ride with two of the most iconic snowboarders in the industry,” said Anissa Arefeen, B4BC spokesperson.
