Residents of Denair proved they care about their community by turning out Saturday for some clean-up projects. The campaign drew out about 15 volunteers, including sophomores from Denair High School, for a day of cleaning up along the railroad tracks and planting trees at the Senior Center and Denair Friends Church. The plantings were to replace the trees that were lost when a tornado came through town. The clean-up project also had a community dumpster at Connecting Points Church for residents to use to dispose of any non hazardous materials.
