Sweet Potato Festival: The annual Livingston Sweet Potato Festival will be held Sept. 27-29 2024 at the Max Foster Sports Complex, 2600 Walnut Ave., Livingston. The festival will include a carnival, live bands, kid zone, sweet potato pie eating contests, food court, and other activities. There is a $1 entry fee. Reclaimed reception: A public reception for the Carnegie Art Center’s “Reclaimed: The Art of Recology,” an exhibition of artwork that has been created from discarded materials, encouraging viewers to perceive “trash” in a new light, will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 27. The Carnegie is located at 250 N. Broadway, Turlock.

Saturday Studio: The Carnegie Arts Center will host a ‘Fantastic Fall’ themed Saturday Studio activity from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 28. Participants can create artwork inspired by the colors of fall. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Cost is $5 per maker. The Carnegie is located at 250 N. Broadway, Turlock.

MoPride in the Park: The 10th anniversary of MoPride will be held from 12 noon to 7 p.m. Sept. 28 at Graceada Park in Modesto. MoPride in the Park is a lively festival where everyone can come together to celebrate diversity and create long-lasting memories. The event includes live performances, engaging activities, and delicious food options that cater to all tastes.
