PUMPKIN FAIR
Part of the Manteca Pumpkin Fair fun is watching kids pick out pumpkins.

Pumpkin Fair: The 40th annual Sunrise Kiwanis Manteca Pumpkin Fair takes place in downtown Manteca from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 5 and 6. Downtown Manteca is being turned into all things pumpkin in the triangle formed by Yosemite Avenue, Main Street, and Center Street. Wellness Art Club: The Carnegie Arts Center will host the Wellness Art Club from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 5. Led by Recreational Therapist, Jesse Hunt, this free event will include artmaking as a coping skill and lifestyle lessons to support positive mental health. The Carnegie is located at 250 N. Broadway, Turlock.

CAC Garden Party: The Carnegie Arts Center will host a Garden Party fundraising event from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 5. Enjoy live music from Turlock’s own Livin’, delicious bites from Farm Truck Catering, craft beer & wine, a local artist art auction, and dessert from Oak Barrel Creamery. Open Cockpit Day: Castle Air Museum will hold its annual fall Open Cockpit Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 5. Over 80 historic aircraft onsite, many of them open for viewing during this event. Also enjoy historic military vehicles, fire and law enforcement displays, and lots of fantastic food. Helicopter rides will be available onsite. Tickets are $25 each. Oktoberfest: The Twain Harte Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 2024 Oktoberfest Pub Crawl from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 5 in downtown Twain Harte. Tickets are $35 each or $60 for two.
