Artist reception: The Carnegie Arts Center will host an artist reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 8 for Steve Dzerigin and his exhibition of photographs, The Return Of The Lake. The exhibition of more than 30 color photographs documents the many impacts from flooding in the South San Joaquin Valley with the return of Tulare Lake in the spring of 2023. Salmon Festival: The 14th annual Stanislaus River Salmon Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Knights Ferry Recreation Area, off Hwy 120. There will be live music, drummers, vendors, a live salmon camera and other family-friendly events. There is a $10 parking fee.
