Family Friday: The Carnegie Arts Center’s next Family Friday will be a 172nd birthday party for Vincent van Gogh. Participants can enjoy cupcakes and create their own starry night and sunflower inspired works of art. Family Friday is free and will be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at 250 N. Broadway, Turlock.
Baby Animal Days: Dutch Hollow Farms will hold their annual Baby Animal Days from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Visitors can view baby animals and there is a small petting area. Bottle Feedings are $6 and can only be purchased at the door. Cups with animal feed for the adult goats, adult sheep, horses, and llama can be purchased for $5. Closed-toe shoes are suggested. From Princess to Pirate: The MJC School of Arts will present “From Princess to Pirate,” a true-ish collection of seafaring adventures throughout history who just happened to be girls. Performances will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Performing & Media Arts Center Main Auditorium on East Campus. No late seating and children under 5 not admitted. Exotic Bird Expo: The Exotic Bird Expo will be at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds for a show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
