The annual Carnegie Art Showcase exhibition will take place this summer at the Carnegie Arts Center in Downtown Turlock. This juried exhibition is a celebration of artistic excellence, awarding a total of over $2,000 in prize money. Entries are now being accepted; the submission deadline is May 31.
The show will be on view in the CAC’s Ferrari Gallery from July 8 through Aug. 30, 2025.
“This is one of the highlights of our season, when we showcase the work of talented artists from throughout our region and beyond. With no restrictions on media, size, or subject matter, this is always an exciting and diverse show,” said CAC Director Lisa McDermott. Typically, the three jurors must select from among 250 or more works submitted. “Best of all is seeing new artists entering their work and stepping into the spotlight. This is always a surprising, creative, and beautiful exhibition.”
Works in all media may be submitted; artists must be at least 18 years of age and must reside in California. All works must be entered online via the SmarterEntry.com platform, accessible through the CAC website where complete rules and details are posted. All entry materials (entry forms, images, and fees) must be received by 5 p.m. on May 31. Complete information about eligibility, rules and deadlines can be found on the CAC website at carnegieartsturlock.org. Any questions can be directed to the CAC office at 209-632-5761, x104.
Jurors for the 2025 Art Showcase are: Martin Azevedo, printmaker & Art Department Chair, CSU Stanislaus; Franka Gabler, award-winning photographer; and Daniel van Gerpen, painter and graphic designer.
