Turlock’s Knights of Columbus Father Heslin Council presented nearly $13,000 in scholarships to local students in a special awards presentation on May 16. In total, 11 students from six different high schools were honored. From Turlock High School, Felisha Dias ($250) and Emely Fernandes ($1,500) received scholarships, and Clara Buck of Pitman High School received a $1,500 scholarship. David Edwards ($250), Bailey Fernandes ($1,500), Ian Johnson ($1,500), Gianna Nunes ($250) and Daniel Padilla ($1,500), all of Hilmar High School, received scholarships as well, and the Knights also awarded students from Central Catholic High School, Modesto High School and Delta Charter High School with college funds.
