Local law enforcement is seeking the public’s help in finding a missing Turlock teenager last seen with a suspected sexual predator.

The California Highway Patrol issued an Emergency Missing Advisory on Tuesday afternoon for 16-year-old Monica Ascensio. The advisory was issued out of concern for her safety.

Ascensio was last seen around 3 a.m. on Aug. 27 in the 200 block of West F St. She is believed to have been in the company of Cristian Ceja.

Ceja, 25, has multiple warrants for his arrest, including charges of sexual assault.

Ascensio is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs about 90 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes and was wearing black leggings and a blue shirt when she was last seen.

Ceja is 5 feet, 8 inches and weighs 210 pounds. He has brown hair and eyes.

Ceja is believed to be driving a gray Honda Element with license plate 6MKL047.

Anyone spotting the pair or either individual is asked to call 911 and report their whereabouts.
