Turlock mother who urged daughter to attack teen now wanted by police
Turlock mother TJHS fight
A Turlock mother is wanted for felony false imprisonment and misdemeanor child abuse and contributing to the delinquency of a minor for her part in helping her 12-year-old daughter hit another student.

An after-school fight may result in some repercussions for the two girls involved in it, but it’s the mother of one of them that’s in real hot water after being filmed egging on the encounter.

The video, which was recorded by a teenager on a cell phone, shows the woman restraining the girl and ordering her daughter to hit her.

“Hit her,” the woman yelled to her daughter while holding the other girl. “It’s after school, it’s after school. You can’t get in trouble.”

Unfortunately for that girl, her mother gave her some bad advice. The girl, a 12-year-old student at Turlock Junior High School, was arrested by the Turlock Police Department and taken to juvenile hall on suspicion of battery. She could also be facing consequences from the Turlock Unified School District.

The incident began just after 3 p.m. Friday after the girls and other students got off their school bus near a park.

Irina Lizarraga Acuna told Fox 40 it was her 13-year-old daughter who was hit. She said her daughter had been bullied and confronted the 12-year-old about it on the bus.

The video shows the 13-year-old being grasped by the woman and then struck by the 12-year-old.

Police have identified the woman, but are not releasing her name at this time. They have tried contacting her, but have been unsuccessful so far. She is wanted for felony false imprisonment and misdemeanor child abuse and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
