The Turlock Police Department is seeking the whereabouts of a 65-year-old man who allegedly repeatedly stabbed a woman the night before Thanksgiving.

The suspect has been identified as Arthur Aguilar, 65, of Turlock. His whereabouts are currently unknown.

Shortly before 9 p.m. on Nov. 27, police officers were dispatched to a residence in the 700 block of Broadway for a report of an assault and battery.

At the residence officers found a woman with multiple lacerations, said Turlock Police spokeswoman Dominique Sanchez.

The woman was attacked with a knife allegedly by Aguilar, according to the police department.

The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital with injuries that were described as non-life threatening.

Aguilar had fled the home on foot prior to the arrival of the police department.

Aguilar is a transient known to stay in the Turlock area. Anyone spotting him is advised to not approach.
