A man was stabbed multiple times Monday night before seeking aid at a Turlock motel, the Turlock Police Department reported.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was stabbed multiple times in the back, said Turlock Police spokeswoman Dominique Sanchez. His injuries were considered life-threatening and he was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
The incident was reported to the police department shortly before 10 p.m. Monday night. The victim had stumbled into the Motel 6 at 250 S. Walnut Rd. and told the desk clerk he had been stabbed.
Police, along with personnel from the Turlock Fire Department and American Medical Response, came to the scene. The victim was sedated and was unable to speak with detectives, Sanchez said.
Sanchez said detectives are trying to pinpoint the location of the stabbing.
“They searched the area but couldn’t locate any evidence of a crime,” Sanchez said.
At this point there is no suspect information.
The investigation is ongoing.
