The Turlock Police Department arrested a 44-year-old man Wednesday on allegations of drug sales.
Julio Bennen, of Turlock, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine for sale for the Wednesday arrest.
Bennen was spotted outside a Quik Stop at 1260 Geer Rd. around 11:35 a.m. Wednesday. He was on probation and a search revealed he was in possession of “several bindles of individually packed methamphetamine,” said police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.
Bennen was also found in possession of a digital scale and other items indicative of sales, Lewis said.
Bennen was wanted as part of an ongoing investigation by the Turlock Narcotics Enforcement Team.
