An argument between a boyfriend and a girlfriend ended with the boyfriend being arrested for domestic violence.

The fight was reported around 12:55 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Hartvickson Drive.

The argument between Thomas Presley, 27, and his girlfriend turned violent when he put her into a headlock and through her to the ground, according to the Turlock Police Department.

The woman was left with visible injuries from the assault, the police department reported.

Presley was booked into the Stanislaus County Jail for domestic violence.
